Planting the Seed of Entrepreneurship

Sometimes empowerment is not about giving someone an opportunity. It is about helping them recognise the opportunity already within themselves.

At EmpowHER.with3s, I believe empowerment has no age, no gender, no profession and no boundaries.

Today, I am especially proud to share the story of my nephew, Sri Tharshaan, and the beginning of his entrepreneurial journey with Vasora Studios.

Sri Tharshaan was originally helping me with something very close to my heart, the development of the EmpowHER.with3s website.

But as I watched him work, I noticed something much bigger.

He was not simply "helping with a website."

He genuinely enjoyed what he was doing.

From photography and videography to cinematic editing, digital creativity and web development, he showed curiosity, patience and a genuine love for his craft.

That was when I encouraged him to take one step further.

“Before you build my website, build your business.”

I encouraged him to formalise what he was already passionate about and register his own business.

There was no hesitation.

He listened, took the advice seriously, put in the effort and went through the process of officially registering Vasora Studios.

And today, I am incredibly proud to say:

Vasora Studios is officially registered.

For me, this is more than an SSM certificate.

It represents the beginning of an entrepreneurial identity.

It is the moment when a young person's passion starts becoming a profession.

It is also a reminder that sometimes the most meaningful way we can empower someone is simply to say:

“I see your talent. Now believe in it too.”

I have always believed that entrepreneurship does not necessarily begin with a big office, a big investment or a big team.

Sometimes, it begins with a skill, a passion and one person willing to take the first step.

And today, Sri Tharshaan has taken that step.

From my nephew to an entrepreneur

As his aunt, I am not proud simply because he registered a company.

I am proud because he trusted the process, accepted guidance and acted on it.

That is the kind of entrepreneurship I want to encourage through EmpowHER.with3s.

We often talk about empowering women, and that will always remain an important part of my journey.

But I also believe in empowering people.

Young people.

Men.

Women.

Creators.

Dreamers.

First-time entrepreneurs.

Anyone who has a talent but may still be waiting for someone to tell them:

“You can build something with this.”

So today, I am not only introducing Vasora Studios.

I am celebrating the first chapter of Sri Tharshaan's entrepreneurial journey.

May this be the beginning of many stories, many clients, many creations and many lessons along the way.

And to my nephew, Sri Tharshaan:

Never stop learning.
Never stop creating.
Never underestimate your talent.
And never be afraid to start small.
